Do you ever feel discouraged as a servant-leader? With all of the examples of toxic leadership in the world, it can be hard to keep faith in the future of servant leadership and our role as a servant-leaders. But there is much hope to be found! There are many who believe in humanizing business by valuing the individual and who are committed to creating long-term growth. Destructive leadership has its addictive tendencies, but it cannot bring sustainable results – it cannot build a future to support itself. As we wrap up our holiday celebrations and reflect on the past year, let’s remember why we serve and why we serve to lead. Let’s remind ourselves why we believe in the importance of fostering self-awareness, growth, and personal well-being within our teams as well as with everyone around us. Servant leadership is the future, and we are building it one step at a time. So be courageous, servant-leaders! Keep up the good work and keep on serving.
