Here at the Marylhurst Center for Servant Leadership we are passionate about education and the call to serve our community. Last spring the Center held its second annual Pacific Northwest Regional Conference on Servant Leadership at Marylhurst University, a 150-year-old campus founded by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary and dedicated to serving others. It was a wonderful two days of conversation, listening, and growing together as a community of servant leaders. More than 80 scholars and practitioners from the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and Vancouver, British Columbia came to participate in this enriching event.

And now we are excited to share some of last year’s gems with you! The 2012 conference proceedings are now available for purchase through LuLu.com. Center director David McNamee and Marylhurst School of Business adjunct faculty member Rob Abramovitz have selected presentations given at the 2012 conference by some of the leading servant leadership academic experts and practitioners. This book is firmly rooted in Robert Greenleaf’s belief that each of us is called to serve others, one that we are deeply honored to share with you.
