Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2016
Friday, June 17, 7:00p.m., St. Anne’s Chapel,
Rev. Richard Berg, CSC, presider.
All are invited
Baccalaureate Mass, followed by a festive social gathering, is a time-honored academic and religious ritual dating back to the 15th century. It is celebrated the night before Commencement, and is an opportunity for faculty, graduates and their families, to join together in giving thanks to God, and to each other, for the successful completion of academic degrees. It is a time of appreciation, leave- taking and blessing.
Immediately following the ceremony, all are invited to a social hosted by the University in Clark Commons.
